    The article says that dogs keep pregnant women fit and happy. I agree that dogs help you stay physically active, and being a dog lover, I agree that they bring in happiness. But dogs are also a lot of work. Dogs may also cause allergies to the child/mother. What do you think, smartmomz?

    Moms-to-be who own a pet dog can share the responsibility of caring for the pet dog with other family members. Its wise to not bring home a new pet during pregnancy, to be safe from getting allergies. But it has also been found that children exposed to an extremely clean environment are more prone to getting allergies.
