Bonding with your baby during pregnancy

Bonding with your baby is needed to build some important and fundamental social and psychological qualities in your child. Many studies have shown that children who have good bonding with parents are more disciplined, build strong and healthy relationships, and are more content and satisfied emotionally.

Bond through voice

Studies prove that kids recognize the voices and show more familiarity to the voices heard during pregnancy. They learn the rhymes sung to them during pregnancy faster than any other rhyme.

When you put on the music and relax, your baby is probably listening to it too. Your baby can hear your voice inside the womb, and can start recognizing it from other sounds as early as the eighth month of pregnancy! Both parents can begin talking to, reading to or singing rhymes to him / her during pregnancy. Let the baby feel your love through your voice.

Try to stay away from loud and disturbing noises during pregnancy.

I am a mother of a 6 year old. My life's experiences and the desire to be a better parent inspired me to create SmartMomz. It has been a great learning experience and I am still learning something new everyday, which is amazing! Building SmartMomz has helped me understand much more about motherhood and about myself as a mother. I am a geek mom with great interest in design, technology and gadgets.

Bonding for me did start during pregnancy, although not completely naturally, but somewhat intentionally. I was very ill during my pregnancy with my son, but we began the bonding process by regularly reading a week-by-week development book. It is truly amazing to track the miracle that is taking place. It really made a difference for me even after birth.
